{Stella} 8 days

Little Stella is as sweet as she is beautiful. She wasn't too sleepy though, so we had to grab our shots as quickly as we could during her few minutes of dozing.  So lovely; as is her mother.  Congratulations, again, she is just precious.

Alaina

This shoot was a blast. I'm not sure what part of it I loved most! Alaina, it was so nice to meet you. You did a great job with these. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed working on them. Good luck with your senior year!

Sweet Anabelle

I had the utter joy of doing a shoot for this wonderful family while I was in Atlanta last week. Little Miss Anabelle simply stole my heart.  The sweetness is unbearable, not to mention her hilarious personality.  I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed meeting Anabelle.

the {P} family

We did this shoot in the backyard.  It was beautiful.  I'd love a yard like that-so lush and open!  Lucky little boys.  Here are a few shots from the session!  These boys have gorgeous big eyes and smiles! I hope you enjoy your preview!  Thanks again for having me.  It was great.

I can't tell if it is just my dry eyes or if these look blurry.  I did save them a tiny bit differently than I usually do.  How do they look on y our computer? Any feedback would be great.

{looking back}

It's always fun to see the progression of children over time. It is especially fun for me when I get to be apart of documenting those precious early years. Here's a little look back at Niall, who just turned one.

....and today.  One year old.

Niall is {One}!

The rain finally cleared up, but as you can see, the wind was in full force.  While it ruined certain shots, it actually made others more fun. Doesn't Averie have beautiful porcelain skin?  And her rosy cheeks are too cute.  One of my favorite shots of Niall is the profile shot.  He has the most darling little button nose and baby cheeks.

Matthias...

I think I tend to start most of my blog posts by mentioning how enjoyable the session was. I guess that means I'm in the right field. This shoot was no exception. When we met up for the shoot, I realized that Matthias' whole family was along for the ride. They were all heading out to dinner afterward. I was a bit worried that he would be overwhelmed by the mass crowd, but in fact, he wasn't phased one bit. He was the epitome of "go with the flow". He did great. Matthias, I wish you all the best in your new adventure. Thanks for having me do your photos. It was a pleasure.

I see a "Matt Damon look" in a lot of these shots, do you? He said nobody has ever told him that he looks like Matt Damon, but I sure think he does.

charming miss {E}

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love bird motifs. So you can imagine how excited I was when Miss {E} showed up in this darling coat. So fun! Her mom ordered it off of Etsy-they have such great stuff on there! I don't think you could find a more perfect outfit for this child. So sweet. I absolutely love her expression in this first photo. I've often tried to explain to people why I love such intent looks on children. I think perhaps it is because it is a glimpse into a soul full of newness & wonder and yet such profound thought.

{Sisters}

This first shot makes me giggle! I think you could take a similar shot in about 30 years and it would look almost identical. These three girls sure do love each other. I had so much fun spending a morning with them and getting to know their family. Thanks so much. Enjoy your photos!
