Thanks to Erin Johnson Photography, http://www.erinjohnsonphoto.com/, I was able to assist on the wedding above. It was a gorgeous day for a wedding! This beautiful couple had their ceremony and reception at the University Club in St Paul. It was lovely.
Lydia just turned one and she is on the go every second giggling and dancing away. I could barely keep up with her wiggling away! Doesn't she have the greatest expressions?
I've known Angie for years, so it was really fun to do her engagement photos. Doesn't she just beam? We had a lot of fun walking around St Anthony Main. There are so many great little spots down there.
The other day I got to go over to some of our good friend's house and do portraits of their children. I think they turned out great, especially considering two of their children desperately dislike the camera! It was hard to pick my favorites. That's always a good problem to have.
Jeremy was helping his brother work on their house. I noticed this metal sign revealed-nailed to the hard wood floors. Isn't a cool little sign? I've never seen this brand. I wonder how old it is?
My dad once told me that with your closest friends in life, you won't really remember getting to know them. It's something that just happens over time and what makes for such a true friend. In someways that is what happened with my becoming a photographer. It is a passion that started and developed in many ways along the years through a love of art and people, particularly children culminating into a natural light portrait photographer. I couldn't love my work more.
